For the first time in history (as far as we know!), a climbing gym is partnering with a theatrical team to bring you BETA — a site-specific staged reading on May 31 at 8pm, presented by Bouldering Project in Gowanus, Brooklyn.
An exploration of failure and effort, BETA invites you into the climbing community to become part of the energy that holds it all together — because in a climbing gym, nobody ascends alone. BETA follows a multigenerational group of climbers, friends, lovers, and mentors, pushing the boundaries of community and what it means to belong, as a rival gym encroaches across town.
